I was working on a scene in blender 2.67 and wanted to switch to 2.57. when i opened the file in 2.57 everything looked like it was in wireframe mode when it was in textured shading. it even looked that way in solid shading. what is wrong?
major changes thats what happend… BMesh has been implemented and other major changes to the blend file format… dont expect everything to work… forwards capabilities will always be there, but backwards compatible will not.
One thing that MAY help is opening your file back up in 2.67, going file > save as > enable legacy mesh format
