Problem with playback in video sequencer

Hey im running into a problem where the sequencer wont play back the last 4 frames of my strips.
The strips are h264 files of proxy animation, 30fps. The sequencer is 30fps as well.
What happens is it just holds the 5th to last frame for the last 4 frames.

Any ideas what’s happening?

note: its fine with image sequences and when coming to do our final renders we will be using image sequences but for this proxy animatic stuff we were hoping to use the high compression, low quality movie files.

Try turning on proxy timecode for the strip. You don’t have to render an actual proxy just for Blender to use the timecode for it. You select the TC type and go to strip menu and “regenerate proxies”.

I have the exact same problems with h.264 video files as well. Try pressing the reload button in the properties window towards the bottom, next to where it lists the video file source.

Seems to work for me.
