Hello. I can’t find a solution how to stretch a profile along a curve. At sharp corners the profile shrinks. Who knows how to solve this problem. There is a special checkbox Even thickness in the solidify modifier that solves this problem. Please help with geonodes.
I found a video that can solve this problem, but I automatically fall into the following trap, the video was recorded in an old version, since then the nodes have changed a lot and some are no longer there. I apologize for my English.
Problem with Poligonal Path Extrusion (Geometry Nodes).blend (540.5 KB)
I can suggest two alternatives (there are certainly more);
- Can insert a SET CURVE RADIUS between the GROUP INPUT and your CURVE TO MESH nodes.
Shift + A >>> Curve >>> Write >>> Set Curve Radius ^-^
- The manual solution can be found here : Is there a way to clean or assign a radius for the entire curve? - #2 by tomjk
Happy blending
Thank you very much.
- does not solve the problem(
- i am looking for more of a mathematical approach solution.

it is ok, but he work in old version blender. I don`t have transfer attribute. I don’t know how to replace it in the new version, and the way they write on the forums I don’t work for some reason…
Pardon me, I didn’t consider you needed the tilt / normals aligned as well. You can find the workaround for the transfer attribute here : (https://blender.stackexchange.com/questions/276087/where-is-transfer-attribute-in-3-4)
I can reccomend you these two links:

both are great learning source as well
oh my god. I am very grateful to you for such information. It completely solved my problem.
Do you have any more useful information on studying geonodes? I really want to learn it, but there is so little useful information on them.
Thank you very much in advance.
Thank you very much. Very useful information.
