Problem with rendering dynamic paint

Hey guys,

I’m trying to render a laser-etching animation, where the laser just changes the color of a material it comes in contact with.
I set up the animation + dynamic paint using an image sequence.
Although my animation works perfectly in the rendered viewport (i can see the paintmap changing the material of the canvas), when I actually render the animation or a single frame, the canvas remains the same.
Does anyone have any ideas on what the problem is?


Hi Nibuoy, I have the exact same issue, and I am completely stumped. I am using vertex format instead of image sequence, but still same issue. Can anyone figure this out? That would be fantastic.
