Problem with rigid body physics after moving a passive object next to an active one

This is my 3rd day on blender and I am trying to make a marble music animation so that there is a ball falling on xylophone bars at the same time each beat is heard from a song. I’m running into a problem where after placing a few bars everything is fine, but when I go to place another bar and position the bar so that the ball will hit the bar at the right frame, the ball moves to a different location after calculating to frame. Everything looks fine before hitting calculate to frame, but after calculating, the ball is in a different location on the same frame.

At the moment, I don’t know how I did the simulation.
In addition, simulation may not work as intended.

Welcome :tada:

…maybe the ball is already crossing the area of the collision shape of the newly added bar and so get’s “pushed back” when recalculating ??

You may have to elaborate this to get a more suited answer.
