problem with rigify

I have finished my first human model a month ago or so. And I want to animate it as quick as I can so I’m using rigify to rig the model. But I am having a problem with the tweak bones. When I rotate the palm up, the tweak bones get messed up. I honestly don’t even know what tweak bones are for when we have the IK/FK bones. If you know what they are for would you mind explaining? Here are the screenshots I took



I think the tweak bones are used to make minor changes to the palm or fingers after the IK or FK bones have done the major positioning work. I suspect if you turn them off, you won’t miss them.
