Problem with sculpting w LowPoly Mesh

Hi there!
I’ve got a problem with ma LowPoly Mesh now, i still want to change some details but that isn’t really working obv cause i have less vertices now… when i want to remesh it, it looses details in some places… (example: my hands… the finger stick together then) If i set the remesh lower for higher res, its fine but too laggy and gains too much vertices again ofc…
Anyone can help me with that?

Can you show some pics?

If you want a low poly mesh of a high poly sculpt, you’d generally do that manually. It will loose details, because that’s kinda the point. You’d bake the high poly mesh to the low poly as a normal or displacement map or something.

The remeshing tools, are generally designed to be part of the sculpting workflow, and not to actually re-topologise a model in any kind of useful way - if that makes sense.

Sorry, maybe i misspronounced myself…
I did the retopo manually (from 2m vertices to 10K i think)
Im happy bout the results, thats not the point.
But now i want to edit some details on the hands for example… but i cant really do that, how do i get more vertices for edit/sculpting now?

Ah, ok. Then you’ll want to add a multires modifier.

Thank you, i think u solved my problem!
