Problem with Sound + Camera

As you know 3D sound plays at a certain level of volume and pitch depending on the angle and distance you are from the object. But the camera’s default axis when looking forward is “-Z” instead of “+Y”.

This causes a problem as you are looking straight at the sound but because the camera is “-Z” towards the sound, the engine things you are looking at the ground.
This ends up with a weird pitched sound.

What could I do about this problem
