I am making a 2D animation using just images as planes. I have a simple armature for a flower pot with just the pot body and 2 legs. I have separate meshes (planes) for all three parts. I can’t figure out how to get the legs (when rotated) to not affect the pot body. I have attached an image of the problem and included my Blend file. any help will be greatly appreciated.

Don’t paint the weights. With an object this simple set the weights manually. Remove the vertex groups that shouldn’t effect the different parts. If you decide later that you need those groups, add them back and they will be zeroed out so you can add only the influence you want.
