When I open blender, the screen becomes corrupt, the program is all distorted. I have DL’ed the lasted directX drivers and still I am having issues.
I have 2.26 working fine on my ibook, but I would like to use my P4 2.4Ghz with HT to do rendering.
Could I still use the command promt to have blender render images?

you ought to be able to do command line rendering
(though I forget the command)
look for one of the numerous threads regarding blender not working on xp
