Problems to Apply Multiple booleans - Noob question

Hi everyone, I am enjoying a lot this forum
I have this archaic model of the Coliseum in Rome:confused:

I wanted to make small windows where the objects gray are, I apply the boolean modifier, do everything well and I don’t get what I want.
Maybe because the black object is only one and when I make more than one blender doesn’t let me.

How to solve this problem? This is a basic question but…
Here is the file: http://cid-cb682332c6109dea.office.live.com/self.aspx/.Public/GERAL3.blend

Why have you created a new thread when you already have one already for this question?

When you say you don’t get what you want, what does that mean?
The boolean seems to work ok. By the way you have a duplicate mesh overlaying the one selected when you open your blend. It helps if you clean your model up. To spped things up you can join the arches into one object and the window cubes into another to just have one boolean needed. You do have overlapping meshes though.

you are totally right, sorry for that
I figure it out how to do it thanks to you. Thanks for your reply and explanation.

EDIT- any moderator delete this thread, I can’t do it.
