Problems with adding a Image sequence on a card

I have a simulation that I have rendered out as a sequence of images, png, RGBA 1-85. (It’s confetti exploding). I was able to put it on a “Mesh Plane” using a image sequence shader node. But I am not able to use the offset attribute to have the sequence happen at frame 1024. Also before and after the sequence the image bleaches out to pink!
So what should be a simple process is actually very complicated. I assume I must be doing something wrong.

Would someone be able to show me a process of how to put a sequence of images on a plane, and offset them in time (and maybe speed adjust speed too) Without the image bleaching out to pink.

I would really appreciate the help.

Or maybe there is a demo somewhere showing this. I’ve looked and haven’t been able to find one.

Due to that not being possible with the image as texture,

2 ways I know to do this…

  1. you can use a flipbook setup (all images in a giant image)

  2. add 1024 blank frames to yr animation on the VSE and rerender your sequence.

Hope that helps.

A third way,

This will only work if yr frame sequence is divisible by 1024, so if its only 8 frames.

you could set the cyclic switch on the material, and swap materials on that frame.

geonodes switch material @ frame
