Problems with Bake Full Render

Hello All,

I have created a concept type fighter plane and added a simple cloud texture to it (gry colours), however, I need to bake the render onto it to save on render times as it is going to be tested on a game engine by www.multiplay.io (these guys are impressive and moving forward fast)

Anyway, when I try to bake (full render) it almost works, however, it also produced some triangular pattern on the render that does not look all that great. I hope this can be seen from the image attached.

Any tips or help on how to solve this triangular problems would be very much appreciated.

Thank you in advance

Try removing doubles (select all vertices and W / remove doubles)and recalculate normals before baking (select all vertices and Ctrl+N)

Hello Richard,

Firstly, thank you very much for taking the time for giving me some suggestions.

Unfortunetaly, I had already tried removing doubles and recalculation normals…I tried it again just to be on the safe side and the triangles still appear.

Not sure if you have any other suggestions???

Once again thank you for your time

Could it be that you have 2 airplanes lying around? Check your objects in Outliner and disable Render (camera icon) for one.

Thank you for your reply.

I think I disabled render (camera icon) on outline but it still produced triangles.
Apparently these triangles appear apperently when the mesh which is usually quads have been transformed to triangles. Having said that I do not appear to see triangular mesh on my plane.

Im sure I will find the solution soon.

Thanks again for your time
