Problems with Memory Cache Limit

Hi

In blender 2.63 my max Memory Cache Limit in the User Preferences was: 16384, but, in 2.64, my max limit is just 1024. Why, is it so much lower, is it a bug or can it be fixed?

In 2.64a it is max. 32768 MB it was a limit in older builds.
This value is only for Sequencer and video tracking.
Blender takes all memory it can get independent from this setting.

Ok, but now of I try to track longer shots then blender would stop working, how can I still track the long video shots? Thanks for answer

Cant you set it to 32768 MB?
Do you use 2.64 or 2.64a, there was a lot of bugs in 2.64.
Or better use the new testbuild of 2.65:
