Hi, so I’ve been having this weird problem with spec maps in texture paint mode in Blender 2.71. For some reason my Spec maps don’t show up when I paint them. I’m in GLSL shading, and I’m set to textured viewport shading. I’ve turned downed the specular intensity on my material. It just doesn’t show up when I paint it. When I view it in rendered mode I can see the effects of my spec map but this is time consuming as you all know. I don’t know how to solve this. I didn’t have this problem with past iterations of blender. Is anyone else experiencing the same problem and does anyone know how to fix it?
