Problems with the track to function and parenting in BGE

I am making a jet game, i tried a few fps scripts so I could get the mouse to move the jet, but sagedread’s was easiest to use and mod. I have the jet tracking the cursor witch rotates, and like all the other jet games, added lag. But the problem is that when I start the game,

  • The jet flips around when I start
  • the jet only tracks on the x and y axis
  • the camera, parented to the jet, gets all squashed.I have all my scale and rotation setting applied, but all of it still keeps tripping out! What am I doing wrong?

Actually, I figured out the squashed camera problem, just press ctrl+a, and apply both things on the parent.

Ok, I fixed the problems, I just parented an empty to the cursor, and had the object track the empty.

Interesting… a jet engine with no intakes. Wouldn’t that make it a rocket plane? Anyway, good job solving it on your own. And your model is pretty good. Smooth, low-poly, nice.:yes:
