I’ve been experimenting with your recommendations. Simply adjusting the size without applying scale doesn’t work; it looks different.
But changing the size, applying the scalee and then dividing the Displacement/Scale value by 10, and then multiplying the scaling in the mapping node by 10 (not dividing by), looks very, very similar.

But is it really the case that there isn’t a single setting for adjusting procedural textures? Or at least no way to do it? To build it?
Do you always have to experiment, calculate, and adjust in multiple nodes? A factor of 10 is manageable here, but when it comes to something unusual or multiple scalings, it becomes rather “stressful” ![]()
