I made a tutorial that demonstrates one approach to creating a procedural rain drop normal map using Blender Geometry Nodes. This time, I put much more effort into making the tutorial clearer and more polished than my previous ones. My goal wasn’t to create the most physically accurate or realistic rain simulation, but rather to share a workflow that helps you understand the underlying concepts. Once you grasp the idea, you can adapt the same techniques to build almost any procedural normal map you can imagine.
