I’m just wondering, are the preview images of procedural textures single threaded?
I’m using the nodes now and once you add more than 2 or 3 procedural textures it makes blender’s whole interface unusable for about 2 minutes, while the procedural’s are calculated.
I’m running a Q6600 @ 2.4GHz, which takes about 3 - 4 seconds to render a frame with the procedural node texture, so i can’t work out why it’s taking so long to edit them in the node editor
