Well hopefully with Blender and other open source toolkit, game making on Linux will be more feasible and easy than ever. Don’t forget you can get Kylix 3 Open Edition from Borland for C++ and Delphi programming (Open Edition requires code to be released under GPL, of course you can get commercial version of Kylix later if you want development for close source project).
