I needed a set of assets that will eventually make up cities for my new Blender addon CITIGEN, a procedural city generator. So the assets were created from scratch, modeling and texturing as much procedurally as possible and using as few images as possible. I was pleasantly surprised that no matter how big the city scene is the blend file hardly exceeded 140MB.
This is something I couldn’t imagine coming even some years ago when Blender had no volumetrics, no geometry nodes, and Nishita sky textures.
