I’ve set up a simple scene for the hand painting of skyboxes, but when projection painting from the central perspective camera it only paints on certain faces at certain angles.
Projection painting seems to work fine with a parallel view or a perspective view significantly outside the skybox.
I’ve disable occlude, cull and normal painting restrictions with no effect.
Any ideas what I’m doing wrong?
EDIT:
Strangely, if I add a SDS modifier with simple subdivision it alleviates the problem.
At one level of subdivision I can mostly paint okay, just a few faces at the outer edge of the view won’t paint.
At two levels of subdivision everything seems to paint fine.
So looks like a bug then I guess.
