In “Blender for dummies” it states that proportional editing also works in Object mode. I gave it a whirl, but it didn’t actually seem to work, and soon after faffing about a bit, Blender crashed hard. IE, vanished.
So, anybody know if Proportional editing works in Object mode?
It does work for operations you can do in object mode (at least in 2.9). For example is you have a line of cubes, turn on proportional editing and scale the first one the scaling will affect the others that fall into the influence circle.
I was just using Grab/Move.
Scale actually seems like it could be useful.
