Hi all,
I ran into a really noob question this week, and googling did not help me either… Maybe Im searching wrong here… but im trying to achieve the following:
Simple one:
Create the basic cube.
Subdivide it vertically
Now, I want the upper left grabbed towards the lower-left, and the middle (subdivided) vertice to proportionally go with me, so the initial line stays straight, but then diagonally…
so vertices:
A—F---B
|
|
C—G---D
Moving vertice A to C, and F should then be exactly in the center
More detailed:
Im building a top-floor of a building, with the roof being diagonal.
I created the walls of the interior, and added the “gaps” for doors etc.
It was easiest for me to do this while the wall was still “square” due to measurements.
Now, if I want to make the diagonal, i was trying to pull down the topleft corners to the bottom-left corners. It would be really fantastic if the other walls would still match the form of the roof (diagonally) but I cannot get it to work as expected…
Tips, hints, all are welcome!
