Hello, I’m getting used to 2.5 and there’s one thing that’s really bugging me. In 2.49 I had no problems loading .psd photoshop files into Blender, but they don’t show up in the file browser in 2.5.
I’ve seen in forums that you need Quiktime for Blender to recognize psd files, but I have QT and it still doesn’t work. Anyone else having this problem? Thanks.
Do you have 32 or 64-bit system and Blender?
Quicktime does not fully work in 64-bit system.
I have a 64 bit system. Is there anything I can do to get QT to work correctly?
Not sure if it will make any difference but have you tried the 32bit version of blender ?
The 32bit Blender makes it work. I can open and use PSD files as textures. It sucks that the 64bit version can’t do it, but thanks for the help guys.
I’m also having this problem with the latest Blender 2.59. I am using the 32bit version of Blender (I have win7 64bit), and I just upgarded to the latest quicktime as well…is there anything I have to enable to get it to work?
Oh and psd’s work fine for me in 2.49.
