I love pubs. They are wonderful places of sharing and passion, places to live… The one who inspired me this 3D project is named “The Dukes Head” in Walthamstow (North East London).
My interest in StreetArt brought me here the first time because Walthamstow is not only the birthplace of William MORRIS: it is also a mecca for mural painting. The artwork on the wall right next to “The Dukes” has been made by Helen BUR. It is the portrait of another local figure: Beryl SWAIN, one of the first female motorcycle riders.
My 3D scene shows a couple of musicians arriving at the pub to give a concert. It’s my way of talking about the courage artists needs to come and propose creations to an audience that hasn’t asked for anything. May be they will like it, may be not
