Please give me some advices to make it better
It could use some textures and the grass ainât the greatest Iâve seen, but good modelling.
Canât really help for the pumpikns. But you could ad a bump map to the soil you are using cuzz now its just a regular plain in a brown colour. I think it would look better with a bid of texture.
Allso for the wheelbarrow try to give it a better material (the bucket has a better one).
Nice scene. I would play with the grass and make it a little smaller. At the moment it looks a bit like ribbons. Perhaps a texture for the soil. Otherwise, I think the pumpkins are really well done , in a nice, warm scene! Keep up the good work!
If you only look at the grass, it looks better now, however, the grass doesnât fit into the scene. In the first picture, it looked more like a pumpkin patch, with the dirt showing and all. Now it looks like you put the wheelbarrow in your backyard garden. And what is that barrel supposed to be used for? (not that it doesnât look goodâŚ)
Regarding the grass, I think you could improve it by giving it more than 1 colour; give the particle emitter a texture, which you give another green (perhaps a little dirtier) nuance.
Regarding the pumpkins, there are too few âcutsâ in it. If you take a look at this pumpkin here, youâll notice the difference. Furthermore, the stems you have modeled are too long and thin, make them smaller and fatter, also, try giving them more variation, the ones youâve made are the same.
Finally why did you remove the grass on the sides? Now it looks like the âsceneâ is in a box, or something.
ps. nice for a first project. Keep it coming.
+1 on the dirt showing. I hadnât thought of that. It does make it look like a real pumpkin patch.
I was going to say bump map the pumpkins and add a little more detail, but the more I look at them the more I like the ha ha ha. I like this nice simple scene. Makes me happy remembering taking photos of my son on a giant pumpkinâŚ
I wonder how often I have said pumpkin now?
