punch effect (see third post)

hello I am making a game where I need a guy to walk. I got the walking to work right when I turn on the sensor for motion forward it works but but it slides forward and slows down slowly when I let go of forward.
can somebody help?

increase the general movement Damping and rotation Damping in the Actor buttons.

thanks. but I also have another question, say I made a punch animation, how could I make it whenever I punch another actor the other acto does a certain action?

use a collision sensor, connected to either and Action, Ipo,or Movement Actuator, depending on what type of action you want on your object,armature etc…(you can use a combination of all if you want).

yea but I want the action of the other guy to only happen when the punch happens
