Hello everybody. Putrid Panda is a small gaming team currently working on a MMORPG in its primitive stages. No, this is not another “Everybody help me make an online game!” thread! We are looking for a qualified experienced volunteers. As of now, there will be no income for the game. But by release of the game, we hope to have premium accounts and other ways of bringing in money.
We are looking for:
-Texture artist (especially with organic models; humans/animals)
-Animator
-Concept Artist
-Environmental Artist
We have a high expectation of quality and will require a show of portfolio or past work before being added to the team.
I quote from at least 10 other threads: “please post some work to get people interested”
Normally, the projects that get attention are the ones with progress shown.
Thanks Dhaher for the suggestion! I really appreciate it.
As for hackedmind, its very rude to troll. If you’re not interested then ignore the thread. If you read the post closely, all were asking for is one artist who can texture organic models. So before you jump to conclusions and make uncalled-for comments, READ… Idiot.
We plan on releasing a very closed alpha testing sever relatively soon after Christmas.
I dont really consider it a troll, a spiteful comment maybe. Mainly because it does get tiresome to inform the people of something that should be very obvious, over and over again. No one really wants to start on a project if their is no progress going on except for the new people who join in.
@phreaknation: it was simply a moment of weakness. I’m not going to edit all the crap out of it because I, uh, hm…
Honor or something, idk.
Anyway!
You should put the link to your blog in the first post, if it’s possible to edit the first post. With luck, I’ll be the only spiteful person to comment about “lack of progress”
@ hackedmind: It’s not a big deal and nothing to worry about:P I take my “Troll” comment.
@ phreaknation: I’ll be posting some progress soon! Also keep an eye on the blog, as we regularly update.
@ Dhaher: We are actually using an engine of our own. I was a little skeptical at first and suggested UDK many times but after seeing the engine in the works, I have all confidence in it.
I would like to say impressive. Congrats on the details. I would help but my knowledge is web development. If you need a website for the project I would be glad to help
