How would you put an .avi file onto a cube, like a TV screen, and have it play the movie on the cube during the animation?
Moved from “General Forums > Blender and CG Discussions” to “Support > Materials and Textures”
Add the video as you would do any other image texture. Then in the Texture / Image panel ensure to enable Auto Refresh tickbox so the texture refreshes at every frame change.
I tried that, it still won’t move from the first frame. If I put an offset on the image, it goes to a different frame in the image editor, but wont render it.
