I’m trying to get LuxRender installed, which seems to be far more complicated than thought.
Following this tutorial

I got stuck at step three, where I have to get “pylux”…how do I get pylux, I can’t find it either on my computer nor on the net.
Also when I try to open the user preferences window, I only get a black window, no matter how long I wait. I actually can’t do any user preferences since that window won’t appear properly on my screen and also afterwards nothing works and I have to restart blender all over.
What’s the deal with that? is my laptop cpu not efficient enough to display this preferences window or am I missing some certain interface-plugins?
