do you need to download python for it to work in the game engine??
example:
like if i want to set an actuator with a python script do i need to download it and install it?

Nope, no need to install python to set actuators and such like. There seems to be quite alot of python ‘built in’ (not sure if that would be the correct words for it.). If you`re thinking about loading and saving things, like scoreboards and stuff, then python is needed.
