Python Madness

I can’t seem to get Blender to do anything with a python script.

I’m running Red Hat 7.2, Blender 223, and have Python 1.2. I can call python from the teI can’t seem to get Blender to do anything with a python script.

I’m running Red Hat 7.2, Blender 223, and have Python 1.2. I can call python from the teminal.
I have my PYTHONPATH environmen variable set to /usr/bin where python is located.

I’m stumped.

When I load a python script in blender and press alt-p, nothing happens. No messages in the teminal, nada.

Any suggestions???

You should seriously download Python version 2.01, that’s the most compatible with Blender (creator and Publisher’s 2.0 series)

Oooops, typo, it’s Python 2.1 :-? , but thanks. Any other ideas?

Make sure the mouse pointer is in the script window when you press Alt-p.
