python script problem

hello

  i'm not sure if i'm suppose to post questions here but its related to python and blender, i'm trying to use an b3d exporter, but it doesn't run cus i think python is not found

    When I start blender it says that
           "No installed python found"

    i looked around in the forums for this problem cus I "obviously" have python installed. The most common way to solve this problem is by

going to my Computer -> Property -> Advanced tab ->
                        Environment Variable -> user Variables

 and then press new
      variable name  :    PYTHONPATH
      variable value  :

C:\Python25;C:\Python25\DLLs;C:\Python25\Lib;C:\Python25\Lib\lib-tk

  then it <b>should</b> work ........

but, i'm blender still claims that no python is found......

i'm using Pyhton25, latest blender version, and i checked the spelling , i just have no clue what else to do... plz help

Blender 2.42 is best used with Python 2.4.3
Or check Graphicall to see if anyone has posted a test build compatable with py 2.5.
Personally I would get Python 2.4.3 as this is most stable with
blender 2.42a.
