Python status

Okey, I start up Blender, everything works…
But today I noticed that in the console window, it says “No installed Python found.”

  1. Why does it do that?
  2. How do I make it go away?
  3. Is this why some scripts (like the Fiber-script) is not always working?

Because no installed python could be found. Hence the message.

Install python. You want python2.3.x for blender 2.37a, or python 2.4.x for the blender 2.40 alphas.

Yes. Blender only ships with a minimal python module set, to save space. Scripts which use other modules that aren’t included need a full python install to use those modules.
