python23 zip in new CVS?

I noticed in the new CVS there is a zip labelled ‘python23’. am i supposed to unzip it? under what conditions?

Then again, you could just unzip it and find out what’s in there, so not that much of a surprise I guess.

i tried to unzip it and a giant spring loaded snake flew out at me! i should have known! (j/k)
