As you can see, this is my first post to forums and so is this model as well. At first I would like to get some feedback from you professionals and not so professionals there. So take your shot and shoot me down. I can live with it. Only if I could improve my upcoming models with some feedback…
Model should be somewhat look a like to Panzerkampfwagen VI Ausf. E, Tiger I (SdKfz 181), VK4501(H) which is formal designation for it (isn’t those German designations are so lovely). I used one lousy model kit to do this, so it lacks many important details, which for sure, are coming.
I am quite related to military world in my life, so tank is by that, nothing more than natural way to start working with Blender. I already know, that lightning should be more brighter to show whole model, but let me deal with this for now. You all know, who have your Blender still fresh and new, that is more than fun to play with all features and lightnings even if the result is all, but nice looking model… And textures are coming…
Thank you for your advice BgDM. I did little update which is here. I don’t know if I should post these little updates, but anyway. My lightning skills are quite bad, so I don’t know if this has come to any better solution after three lamps more. Any advice how to adjust lamps?
Thank you for your little tutorial BgDM. It was all clear and I found your point there.
I certainly know, that questions conserning technics should be direct to forum which is ment to be for them, or I simply could find answers for my own. But I think it is good way when someone has, let say, one idea to improvement, to ask it right away…
Thanks, Stefano, for your thoughts on many improvements. They are coming, like textures… Model is just getting proper shape to be look-a-like… There isn’t material in first neither in second one. In first the lighting is set to give some yeollow light so maybe that is why they look so different.
Thanks, Atariman, for your kind and encouraging words. I have thought to make modelled tracks. So far I try to make every major details by modelling, so my bad texturing skills won’t spoil the rest of work…
