QT-07 Bot: My first game asset

Hi all,

I wanted to practice game asset creation so I thought to make a cute, but realistic looking robot. I modelled all in blender using several addons like hardops and box cutter etc. and then baked high poly details to low poly in marmoset. I also textured in marmoset and imported to unreal to check if it renders fine.

Then I created the below renders in blender including a quick scene I made in a few minutes with decal machine addon’s trim sheets.

It was an awesome learning experience and I definitely saw things I should have done differently. Anyway would love feedback especially if you work in game dev and have specific feedback.

For techinical specs of the asset the robot has 30k tris and using 4K textures. But not rigged or animated as I still don’t feel very competent in those areas.
