Question 2: Possible to get edge data?

is it at all possible to know which vertex is connected to which vertex? If not, would it be difficult to custom program it into the sourcecode? I’m not sure how the edge data is stored.

It would be handy to get that info, because I think that if you have a setXYZ() for vertices (which you do), then you obviously would want all the info on the vertices you can get. That’s the problem I have now… [!]


the edge data isn’t stored, and the verticies are duplicated when used in more than one face to allow strips [or is blender using lists?] to be generated… this is done to save memory and put the mesh in a format that can be much more easily [and quickly] rendered.
