Question about community and the friendly people!

If I were to focus less on Blender tutorials and post things other than Blender specific info and just place it all in this forum would it be ok? I’d still use Blender(and won’t post anything I do in it for a while) but I really like the friendly community here and would love to be able to still post what I really enjoy doing here. Just curious if its against board rules or if people would mind.

you are right, gargola. If frodo´s off topic stuff resembles a tantrum on the keyboard, he will get bombed into tiny pieces right away. If it is funny or useful or interesting, I won´t mind too much.

I think this thread wasn’t supposed to be a debate on wether gargola’s post should be locked or not.

And although I think, it was locked because gargola had been inpolite,
or at least that was what kib said (trying to remain neutral), I think this is a subject that gargola should discuss with him. Not with us. o.k.?

I just read the post from gargola, and I happen to know he was having a bad day then. He was trying to get some silly, positive, happy results, but it went bad with a very negative reply first thing.

I’ve come to the forums to lift my spirits many times, and boy, when someone smacks you down and you’re having a bad day, it really knocks you off. I hope Gargola changes his mind and joins in on funnys again. I don’t like the fact that he’s feeling down now about the board (sounds like it to me)

Please, lets try to be nicer whenever someone posts, even if you find it irritating, let it go, If I open some thread up, and it’s not what I expected, and don’t care for, I don’t say anything, I just move on. That’s what this sections about anyway. Sometimes it’s an easy place to look for a smile when you need one, and usually, as I’ve noticed, one is right there waiting for you.

I know we can’t read eachother’s minds, and see if someone is having a bad day. If we could, nobody here would have been so cold. So we have to remember to be polite, so this kind of thing doesn’t happen.
