Hello, i’m new to this website as I have just started using blender a few days ago with much help from youtube videos and written tutorials, my mmd model that I am converting to gmod is finished, I have got a skeleton (That was used by another model in GMOD beforehand) and weight painted to the new model. and I am satisfied with it and it seems like it would work. But there is one problem when I go to export it to SMD to make it into a gmod player-model, it says there is 227 bones. When the limit is 128. But I only see 50 bones in blender. It doesn’t make any sense to me at all, and I have tried to find solutions myself but came to a dead-end. I have tried changing the old advanced skeleton to a new more simple one (The one in the pictures) but it still results in the same.
Does anyone know what might be causing these problems? Thank you for your time.
