Question about glass

Is it possible to to make light go through 2 (or more) sheets of glass., so you’re able to see through both of them. Like, I want to surround an object with glass from 4 or 5 sides, but I can only see through the first layer of glass, the second doesn’t seem transparent

If not, is there a good way to fake it.

Blender defaults to a “depth” of 2 for ray transparency. Increase the depth and you increase the number of sheets of glass the light will pass through. It will also increase render times, so don’t use more depth than you need to get a good render.
