Okay, I have created a mesh based model, and parented it to a lattice. I have gone ahead and moves the verts of the lattice around to alter the orginal mesh. So here’s my question: Is it possible to delete the lattice but keep the mesh altered the way i had it… i guess, converting the mods to a new mesh maybe?
After reading what i just wrote it may sound a bit confusing… but i dont know any other way to explain it… let me know if i should be more clear?
what you write makes perfectly sense:
select your mesh and eather hit
crtl shift a to apply the deformation
and than unparent it from the lattice.
or open the pop up menu go to transform go to clear/apply and select
apply deformation.
