Question about Texture / UV mapping

I’m importing a VRML file into Blender, and when I can see a coloured model in the viewport when I select “Textured Draw Type”… however, the rendered model is not coloured.

How do I render the texture, and is it possible for me to UV unwrap the model, with a UV map generated based on the texture?

I’ve attached my blender file.

Thanks,

Ryan

It’s not actually a texture, but vertex colours. In the ‘Material’ panel, deselect ‘TexFace’ and select ‘VCol Paint’ instead.

You can UV unwrap the model in the usual way, and then bake the texture from the existing colour.

Best wishes,
