Question about the physics tutorial on the main page

I haven’t much experience with the BGE other than this tutorial. However I have issues. From the start of the scene setup part to the first part of the simulation section, first time you hit p, nothing is done other than applying a cube around your can object and hitting actor, dynamic, rigid body and bounds for the “bounding box”. However my results differ from the movie he threw up. My can flies off to the upper right side of my screen. With only these changes followed. Even more so copying his settings exactly only makes the can object fly off the screen quicker. Whats worse is the link he’s posted for the .blend is either backed up by traffic or no longer on the web.

Does anyone know what I’m doing wrong? Is anyone willing to go thru the tutorial and throw thier blend with the working simulation online for me to study?

Sorry, forgot not everyone thinks in the same way I do. When I said main page I meant the main page HERE at I also just checked now to see the title for the tutorial but it seems to no longer be there…obviously I wasn’t the only one that had issues with the tutorial.

First try ( and fast solution?):
Disable collision ( for all faces) for the “barrel object”?!
Do you know how to do it?

Nope, unfortunately I don’t know how at the moment. However please allow me to try figuring out your solution for myself, when I get home tonight after work, before elaborating on it. This tutorial was quite literally my first attempt doing anything with the BGE.

Once I try you solution if it doesn’t work (or I’m banging my head on the wall trying to figure out what you’re talking about) I’ll post the results/request for further help.
