Hi, I was just wondering if there is a way to make tracking markers search for a certain image within some footage.

For instance, say if I have lots of the exact same tracking marker pattern in a shot. Can I make the tracking points in blender look for things similar to that image either through something already in blender or through some python script?

(I don’t think this is in the right thread)

You want to auto-generate and place markers to all visible custom marker patterns? Haven’t heard of it, but it would make an interesting feature. Can’t say that I have heard of this functionality in other matchmoving softwares either.
