I was looking at Maya software online and saw 2 versions for sale. One was for about $800 and the other was over $3,000. I’m not getting Maya (I’m sticking with blender), but I was just wondering if anybody knows the difference between the two. My guess is that the more expensive one has more features and capabilities.
I think You can not create ocean with cheaper one.

That’s why I’m here, anyway. :p), but here’s a link to the official Maya website, listing the features available (or unavailable) in different versions of Maya.
