question on sss (scatering?)and black outs.

Hi guys
1.So i haven’t touched subsurface scattering yet it is used mostly for skins etc to show light passing through?. Anyway was wondering whether it effect would show up in a game engine like unity 3d. Ie does it get saved on the uv,texture map.

  1. Sometimes when i’m texturing uvs the mesh will just go black and nothing i try allows me to paint to it anymore. Is this a bug is there a way to avoid it happening or to solve it when it does occur.

    Too little information. Supply a blend file that demonstrates this so we can assess if a bug or user error. Also if you do think it’s a bug, report it (blender help menu)
