I have a mercator projection of a star field which I have been trying to map to the world texture. However, it seems that no matter what settings I use I either get huge distortion or only the top half the the world will receive the texture. Can anyone provide any tips on how to do this? I’m trying to create a space animation and things look a little odd when the stars are stretched/missing.
I’m using 2.5 alpha 0 if it makes any difference.
