Question relating to games

My question is not about how to use the Blender game engine. But, it is related. Has anyone attempted to create a Sonic the hedgehog-type game with Blender?

Can’t say that I have, but it certainly has great potential. It wouldn’t require as many polys as FPSs or as much code as an RPG. It’d be fairly easy to make, and it’s unlike many more ambitious projects that require too much complexity, so they easily mess up and make mistakes. I say go for it! It could yield great results.

I’m thinking about it. My main problem is making a model of the character being used in the game, Metal Sonic. You can’t edit the points on a metaball, can you?

No but you can ALT-C it and convert it to a mesh then edit it.
